Our Organization

Industry Edge Limited is a social enterprise working with Kenyan industry and other partners to promote productivity as a means of attaining competitiveness of the Kenyan productive sector.

As a social enterprise, Industry Edge seeks to maximize social impacts while operating on private sector principles. Any returns by the company will be ploughed back into activities and programs championing the productivity agenda.

Andrew Muigai

Chairman

Andrew Muigai is an engineer, management consultant and entrepreneur. He has been an entrepreneur in ecommerce and a project and management consultant in various sectors including: water, wastewater and finance.

He is a Partner at Utility Partners One LLP- a project developer that works to bring up sustainable water and wastewater projects – on a PPP (Public-Private Partnership) model- in eastern Africa.
 

He has served in board positions in public and private sector organizations. In particular: KIRDI (Kenya Industrial Research & Development Institute); Water Resources Management Authority (WRMA); EcoTourism Kenya (Chairman); Kenya Tourism Federation; Karuri Water & Sanitation Company (Chairman); Kiambu County Water Company; Nyari Resident Society; and Kiambaa Development Network Director. He has also served as a Trustee of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF). 

Andrew Muigai has received extensive corporate and leadership training, including: Board Audit Committee; Strategic Leadership & Change Management; Risk Management; Corporate Strategy; Public Private Partnerships; Pension Scheme Trustee.   

George Muthini

Director

George Muthini is a seasoned Human Resources and Management Professional with over 19 years experience in leading local and international organizations namely Flamingo Horticulture, Oxfam GB, World Agroforestry Centre, Faulu Microfinance Bank, Old Mutual and Davis & Shirtliff. In these organization he championed Productivity Improvement as a competitive edge.

He is currently pursuing a PhD degree focusing on Productivity Management. In addition he has a MBA degree, Human Resources Management option and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education and Extension.

He is currently the Managing Director of Geoblest Group, a company that links international investors to opportunities in Africa and Europe.
